Dr. Bruce Ethridge is a Arizona native having been born in Tucson and raised in Tucson and Wickenburg, AZ. He graduated from the University of Arizona in Nursing, Biology and then went on to earn his Medical Doctorate there in 1980. He received his training in Internal Medicine at Maricopa County Medical Center in 1983. He completed his Fellowship in Medical Oncology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 1985 with extra training in hematology and hematopathology.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medicine and Medical Oncology. He began his professional career as the first medical oncologist to live and practice full-time in Yuma, AZ from 1985 to 1994. He practiced in Tucson from 1994 – 1997 and in Washington State from 1997 – 2003 before returning to Yuma. His medical practice interests include general medical oncology and benign and malignant hematologic disorders.
He is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He enjoys traveling to see his two young adult children in Oregon and his mother, sister and brother in Florida and Texas.
